An Elizabethan Chamber Ensemble: Près de Votre Oreille

Created in 2017 by viola da gambist Robin Pharo, Près de votre oreille (“Close to your ear”) ensemble strives to bring a range of music from different eras to audiences. The program Blessed Echoes is a fresco of Elizabethan songs, bringing together some of the most beautiful works from that period, including an homage to the great 17th-century English musical tradition of lute songs. As seen in the typical scoring of the period, this performance features the Renaissance lute, viola da gamba, virginal, and cittern.

Tickets are $35 for the General Public, with a 10% discount for Staff and Faculty of Queen's University. Tickets for students of any instition are $15.
