‘Forget Me Not’ mini family portrait sessions

In October, The Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington is launching a new initiative offering ‘Forget Me Not’ mini family portrait sessions, in both Napanee and Kingston. For $75, residents can have family photographs taken by professional photographer Rob Mooy, with the proceeds going to the Alzheimer Society. In addition, the project has garnered the support of Camera Kingston which is offering a free 5x7 print and discounted processing of the portraits. Fundraising Coordinator Lesley Kimble says “this new fundraising initiative is unique and gives families an option to preserve special family moments and get ready for holiday gift giving while supporting the Society in your communities”. Photograph sessions are open to anyone in the community and are scheduled for October 5 & 6 in Kingston and October 19 in Napanee between 10 am and 3:30 pm. You can book a session by calling the Society office at 613-544-3078. More dates will be announced as spaces fill up. As part of the fundraiser, retirement/long term care homes may also call the Society to book a photo day for their own residents to participate.
