Melos Concert: Light in the Dark II - From Europe to Persia, 6th - 19th c.

Melos Choir, players and guests perform contemplative music for the darkest season and celebrations of returning light, love and hope from a variety of traditions.

From haunting Advent chants, traditional Arabic and Hebrew songs of the Levant; Persian love songs for Yalda and joyous Christmas music from
Europe to Armenia by Gibbons, Bach & Arakelian you will be uplifted by fresh, cross-cultural interpretations of ancient music.

Melos is joined by guests Sadaf Amini, Iranian Santur; Vagho Adamyan, Duduk; Members of Navaa Ensemble and David Roth, Baritone.
