The Heritage Resource Centre open to the public

The Heritage Resource Centre (HRC) is open to the public. The Heritage Planning team is thrilled to welcome residents and will be on-site to answer questions related to heritage properties including permits, grants, and historic research. The HRC will be open to the public for drop-in service at the times listed below. Additional times are available by appointment.
  • Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Located in the heart of downtown Kingston, in the Market Wing of City Hall at 216 Ontario St., the Heritage Resource Centre is an advisory centre and a community hub that works to foster cultural heritage stewardship. The HRC provides an educational space for cultural integration while serving a variety of users that includes owners of designated heritage properties, students, heritage consultants, historical researchers and visitors.
